Your physiotherapist will listen attentively, assess what is wrong, and devise a step-by-step treatment and recovery plan that is right for you. Depending on your problem, you will be given hands-on treatment and/or an exercise programme during your session.
Your initial consultation can take up to 45 minutes and includes treatment. Based on this session, you can decide with your physiotherapist if you would benefit from future appointments lasting either 45 or 30 minutes. .
If you are choosing to use medical insurance, please check your policy as some insurance companies require a GP referral before covering treatment. If you're paying for the treatment yourself, there's no need to go through your GP first. You can simply phone us directly to book an appointment.
Our physiotherapists are all registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). If required, we can supply their registration number and you can check their details on the HCPC website.
